Just got a wild hair up my butt and decided to visit my blog. Log on to realize it's been almost a freakin year! My how time flies when you're living life. Where have I been? Let's see... I believe it was February when we got the Wii fit. That's where it all began. My lazy butt developed a sick obsession to that thing. It took up so much time that my computer dawdling fell to the waste side. When that wasn't enough anymore, I bought a kick ass treadmill from an oh so generous friend. Thus continuing my new found love of running. Plopped that puppy right in the living room. So much easier to run/ walk while loosing yourself in some fine daytime programming. I'm not talking soaps either. Give me some credit.
Next thing you know, I up and got a job. Nothing glamorous but I like it. Love the people and LOVE the hours. It's pretty much perfect. See... I've been busy. I get quite the workout on the job so I haven't been doing much home exercise. Well, I hadn't been until I fell into peer pressure to join the Jillian Michaels club. Against my better judgment... She's seriously terrifying... I bought one of her DVD's. Jillian Michaels is the devil. Owwwww Don't get me wrong... I will continue to torture myself while yelling profanity at the T.V. because the woman, although evil, knows what she's talking about. That and that pesky little shits Arizona would never let me hear the end of it if I gave up. My little, long distant, personal trainer. ;)
So that's it. I've added work and exercise to my already chaotic life. And here you thought I must have run off and done something tremendously exciting. Silly you. Let's not go and fool ourselves into thinking I'm seriously back to blogging either. Take it for what it is... A complete fluke that would be grand if it became habit again but probably won't. Who knows...

Another childhood favorite has left the building...
Now we've lost Corey Haim. I loved Corey Haim! Yeah, he's been a bit of a hot mess for the last... well, for quite a long time now... but I'd still watch any pathetic attempt at a comeback he's made over the years. I felt sorry for him. You remember the show he did with Feldman not long ago? I was glued to my t.v. to see what that wacky duo would do next. For the most part they just fought but I held out hope that they would again make one of those crazy little movies together that only they could pull off. Fuckin Feldman. Why didn't you do something? He was your other half man!
Whenever I think of Corey Haim, I will picture him in my mind as the teen idol... goofy guy wearing glasses, fighting vampires, learning to drive, and dreaming the dream. I just prefer it to picturing the alcoholic overweight druggie he became.

Supermodel pooch...
I think she just might be our big break... our money maker. We should totally merchandise this dog. Calendars, mugs, t-shirts. There are dogs every where on every thing; and this dog... always posing. I think she knows it's her destiny. Now if those stupid owners of hers would just get with the program...

Good bye Boner...
Alas, Boner has been found. Unfortunately not in the way we had hoped. Andrew Koenig was found dead yesterday with reports that he had taken his own life. It really saddens me... nothing in this world is worth that. As the great Charlie Chaplin once said, "Nothing is permanent in this wicked world- not even our troubles". Hope you're at peace now Boner.

Olympians and boner watchers ...
Hating the Olympics does not make me evil or unAmerican. I really don't care if Norway curls better than us. Dancing on ice would be funner to watch if it was being done by giant furry characters tripping themselves up because of the weight of their oversize heads. To be fair, I can't stand golf on t.v. either. So you see, it's not just the Olympics. I only bring it up because that's ALL anyone's talking about... websites, news, magazines...everywhere you go, there it is. I even saw a program showing you how to incorporate the Olympian fashions into your every day wardrobe. Why in the hell would you want to do that? If you're not goin for the gold, DON'T DRESS LIKE YOU ARE! That's a no brainer. You wouldn't want to look like a jackass now would you? Of course not. Now don't get your panties in a bunch if you happen to be one of the kabillion individuals who can't seem to tear your eyes away from the t.v. during this fascinating time. I'm not bashing you here. Just putting it out there that some of us fine upstanding Americans just aren't interested. Keep in mind there are many other news worthy things still happening. What about the disappearance of boner? Yeah, you may have not seen him since the days of Growing Pains but it's still important damn it. He just so happened to be last seen at the Olympics. So as your watching hours of sledding, skiing, or whatever happens to be on tonight, scan the crowd for boner. We must all unite to bring him home!

The law of the land
Murphy's law: "Anything that can go wrong will go wrong". This law must have come in to affect the day I was born. I never know what each day will bring. What I do know is that there will always be some unfortunate event at the most inconvenient time. Just this morning as we're rushing to get Pickle out the door, it's discovered that the cat had decided to puke in his shoe. Of course she did... he is after all the only person in this house who doesn't own an extra pair of tennis shoes. As I'm scrubbing them down, we hear the bus as it carries on to school without him. Thus of course leaving me with no alternative but to take him to school. Wouldn't be a big deal if he went to school in the town in which we live. Honestly though, I wasn't mad. When your life is a series of unfortunate events, a sense of humor becomes your best trait. Oh how I laughed. They say laughter is good for your heart. With my life, I must be developing one hell of a strong heart. Pickle, on the other hand, found it less than amusing.
The cat... pretty talented if you ask me. Not a drop outside of the shoe.

Days go by...
Wow... kind of forgot I had a blog there for awhile. Christmas has come and gone... hell January will be over before you know it. Ever feel like your life is flying by? Blink and you'll be old and alone and wondering who's gonna change your diaper? I do on a daily basis. Just another one of my many things to be paranoid about.
Christmas was good. New Year's pretty laid back. Pickle turned 14... A day I spent staring at him while listening to Landslide on my mp3 and bawling.
See the tie? I'm pretty proud of that. The first one I've ever bought and the first I've ever tied. Special thanks goes out to the funny little guy on the internet who had the idea one day to create a site where people like me could go to learn how to properly knot a tie. Without him my son just might have been destined to a life of clip on ties.
