Who's that boy?

Two pictures....

One very big difference....

That picture's a little dark. Better check out one more just to be sure.

Yep. The golden locks are gone. No more Pantene commercial head shakes. No more curious bystanders wondering if I dye my little boys hair....as if! I must admit, it was a little sad to watch the shavers do what they do. It will of course grow back though, and with this heat I'm considering shaving all my hair off!

Cup full of encouragement

Buttercup's home and doing good. She's a little pouty about the restrictions but physically she's getting stronger every day. Thanks for all the concern and encouragement :)

My sick little pup

Miss Buttercup is gone for a few days. We recently found out she somehow contracted heartworm. You'd think that giving her heart guard every month and using a flea treatment that also helps guard against it would prevent such a thing from ever happening. Such is the "M" mob luck, I suppose. My poor pup is now going through the awful treatment which keeps her away from us for 3 days then continues for the next 6 weeks at home. During which time, we're supposed to keep her from getting to excited. Have you met my pup???? It's going to be a long 6 weeks but if it helps... that's all that matters. So, now I'd like to share a pic of her that always makes me smile. The cup getting caught red handed once again....

I love that little pup....

Picnicing

I totally have what we call an "old person" bike. Completely old school looking with a huge seat, no gears, just pure cruisin comfort. The other day I completed this hilarious ensemble with a basket. I love it! The boys and I packed it up picnic style and took a nice ride out to the pond. It was a beautiful day....very relaxing...it doesn't get much better than a picnic in the country.

Summer has begun

School's been out for almost a week now.
Nugget's baseball games are in full swing. They've won 2 and 2 have been canceled due to recent monsoons.
Pickle starts Percussion camp next week. In the meantime, he's concentrating on seeing just how late he can sleep every day. His record is 11 but he just might break that today.
Mr. M is now working days. Quite the adjustment that is.
Me, had a wisdom tooth pulled last week and I go back tomorrow for another. Really wish they would have just done it all at once.
The pool's up but with recent temperatures it just sits there in its own solitary arctic bliss. There will be no swimming in it anytime soon.
Well, that's what's been going on. Nothing major just life.
