It's a beautiful, 20 degree, autumn morning. Terribly cold yes, but the sun is shining and in our neck of the woods that's really all you can hope for this time of year. The older I get, the less I care about how I look during times like these and more about keeping warm. This being said, I began the process of getting ready to take Daisy dog out. The pickle offered to take out the Cup this morning so I have just the one to deal with. I wear my big ski jacket, snow boots, scarf, gloves, and a hat. Definately a sight to see... atleast I'm warm. Daisy seems to be rejuvinated by the crisp air...

I think she's smiling..
While she runs around I realize that the tree in our backyard has finally decided to shed it's leaves....it's always the last one. It's not even windy out or anything... it's like it just up and decided it was time.

The leaves were just pouring out of it and I had to laugh.... the sound. It sounded like someone was having a giant bowl of Rice Krispies. Snap, Crackle, Pop. This went on the whole time we were out there and I'm sure will continue until all the leaves are gone. It was beautiful and entertaining to watch. Now comes the bad part... we have to rake up all those leaves! The horror!
